"Resisting Corrosion through Innovative Technologies" |
|
ReCorrTech company is dedicated to providing its clients with the quantitative coating quality (QCQ) assessment of the coatings they produce, or which protect their products and constructions, by the aid of the ReCorr® QCQ Test and the complementary methods.
ReCorrTech company is also dedicated to the transfer of knowledge and know-how that enable the clients to independently use the ReCorr® QCQ Device and to master the practical application of the underlying method of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to protective coatings.
The aim of ReCorr® QCQ Testing is to preventing structural integrity threats and expensive repair or maintenance operations leading to the safety concerns or the loss of revenue. |

Numerous scientific references link coating impedance determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to the coating's protective ability and durability. Despite its indisputable potential, the EIS method has not yet fully established itself in the engineering practice.
We firmly believe that widespread use of the EIS method on protective coatings would reveal patterns common to the novel and frequently used coating systems as well as the patterns typical of specific exposure conditions. EIS would, therefore, be able to considerably shorten the time and decrease the cost of coating quality assessment and become a valuable tool of coating quality assurance.
We aim to facilitate engineering EIS application by providing innovative ReCorr® QCQ Test that closely follows the procedure of the ISO 16773 standard but uses the alternative measuring cell in the form of flexible conductive polymer electrodes with a paste electrolyte. The advantages of the ReCorr® QCQ Testing over ISO 16773 glass cell test are: |
